The Locust Army International
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Locust Army Sermons website at sermons.thelocustarmy.org and the Locust Army Sermons Android application (together, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by The Locust Army International (“we”, “us”, “the Ministry”).
By creating an account, signing in, agreeing at signup, streaming, downloading, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who this is for
The Service is a library of sermon audio from The Locust Army International. It is meant for members of the congregation and anyone the Ministry chooses to reach with that teaching.
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws of Nigeria. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
The Service is not a podcast feed and is not distributed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or similar platforms.
2. The Service
2.1 What is free
Streaming of ordinary published sermons is free. You may listen on the website or in the app without paying.
Live broadcasts, when we put them on air, may also be streamed free while the service is running.
2.2 What membership unlocks
A paid Membership on the website currently costs ₦2,000 for 30 days (the price and length shown at checkout are the ones that apply). Membership unlocks downloading sermons to your device for offline listening. All published sermons, including Special programs, are free to stream.
We may change the price, length, or what membership includes. Changes apply to new payments, not to a window you have already paid for, unless the law requires otherwise.
2.3 How renewal works
At checkout you choose Manual or Automatic renewal.
Manual: you pay once; access runs for 30 days (or the period shown); it does not renew until you pay again. Paying again before expiry adds a new period onto the end of the current window.
Automatic: Flutterwave charges the same card each month until you stop it. You can stop automatic renewal at any time in the app or on this website. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Payments are processed by Flutterwave. Card, bank transfer, USSD and other methods Flutterwave offers are between you and Flutterwave. We never see your full card number.
2.4 Downloads after membership ends
If you downloaded a sermon while membership was active, the copy already on that device may remain there and play without data after the membership window ends. That is a copy you stored locally. It is not a right to keep downloading, to copy the file off the device, or to share it.
Downloads are tied to your account on that device. Signing out hides them from other people using the same phone; signing back into the same account restores them on that device.
2.5 Publishing
Media-team uploads start as drafts. Only an administrator can publish. Once published, a recording is public on the Service. Do not treat the library as private.
Recordings may include prayer, testimony, names, and voices of people present at the meeting, including children. By attending Ministry gatherings you understand that services may be recorded and that published audio may be streamed by listeners we do not personally know.
3. Your account
You may browse some content as a guest. An account is required to like, rate, keep listening history, download, buy membership, and (where we require it) use Google sign-in.
You can register with email and password, or with Google. Your email is your login identity. It cannot be changed from the app; ask the media team if it must move.
- Give accurate details.
- Keep your password secret and do not share your account.
- Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial listening. You must not:
- Copy, republish, sell, or redistribute sermon audio, artwork, or transcripts except as these Terms allow (offline copies on your own device under membership).
- Attempt to bypass membership or download gates.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Upload malware or attack the Service.
- Use the Service to harass anyone or to misrepresent the Ministry’s teaching.
- Share an account or Flutterwave checkout with the intent to steal access.
5. Intellectual property
Sermon recordings, artwork, the Locust Army name and mark, the website, and the app belong to The Locust Army International or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable licence to stream (and, with membership, to store on your device) for your own listening.
They do not give you ownership of any recording, the right to preach the files as your own, to post them on YouTube or WhatsApp as a public archive, or to use the Ministry’s marks except to honestly point people to the official Service.
6. Payments, charges, and refunds
Charges are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless checkout says otherwise.
A successful Flutterwave payment is confirmation that we may open or extend your membership window. Refreshing the app or website after checkout does not by itself grant access; the server verifies the payment.
Digital membership starts as soon as payment succeeds. We do not ordinarily refund a period that has already begun. If Flutterwave charged you twice in error, or a payment succeeded and membership did not activate, contact us and we will investigate. Chargebacks started in bad faith may lead to account closure.
Stop automatic renewal before the next billing date if you do not want another charge. Stopping renewal does not refund the current period.
7. Notifications and updates
If you allow notifications, we may send notices that a new sermon is published or that a live broadcast is on air. You can turn these off in Android settings.
The Android app may require you to install a newer APK from time to time. Installing over the existing app (not uninstalling first) keeps your account data on the device. We may also deliver over-the-air updates to the app.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service running, including during Sunday services. We do not promise uninterrupted streaming, live audio, or Icecast uptime. Networks, devices, and third parties (Flutterwave, Google, storage, the path you use to install the app) can fail.
Live audio is real-time. Rewind is limited to what your device has buffered. When the live service ends, a recording may later appear in the archive; that is not guaranteed for every broadcast.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you also acknowledge that policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided as is. Teaching is offered for spiritual edification. It is not professional counselling, medical, legal, or financial advice.
To the fullest extent Nigerian law allows, the Ministry is not liable for loss of data, downloads, or offline files; inability to listen because of your device, data plan, or a live-stream interruption; content that a listener finds challenging; or third-party failures (Flutterwave, Google, network operators).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. For a material change we will try to notice you on this website, in the app, or by email when we have one on file.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms, your account, or a payment: use My account on this website, or speak to the media team at The Locust Army International.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria have jurisdiction, without limiting any consumer right you cannot waive.
